Aidan’s mother made magic every time, And what I’d give, just to make it mine. Soft white loaf, take off the crust, And all that went in was made of love. Chorus Get it together, Get it together. Soft white loaf, the creamy fish flake. Simple pleasures and the time it takes. Get it together (Got to spread it out) Get it together (Got to bring it ‘til you get a little gherkin on top) Whether it’s sunny Whether it’s raining It’s pouring It’s sleeting It’s snowing But not if it’s inclement You’ll have to think twice You’ll feel like a lemon But it’ll be alright Get it together (Got to spread it out) Get it together (Got to bring it ‘til you get a little gherkin on top)

Well I'm in love with my phone because it's got your voice, it's got your voice. A physical thing to hold onto A device that gives me choice A whisper in my ear Or a voice to thing the room A welcome receiver to listen A mic to fill the gloom Well I'm in love with my phone because it's got your voice, it's got your voice. Well I'm in love with my phone because it's got your voice, it's got your voice. Well I'm in love with my phone because it's got your voice, it's got your voice.

I look down at myself, see by biscuit gravy Smeared on the front of my shirt. And I look in the mirror at my reflection Stubbly face covered in dirt And I catch a glimpse in a puddle of my gut hanging over My black jeans, covered in the ash of a smoke The mid-day clock was a ringin' and a callin' Just at the time I awoke Greasy hair and a dirty moustache Is all I have to show For a foolish man who would ever let A fine woman like you go But you wanted them all in white Teeth to match Golden hair But here's the catch You liked the mean The worst you'd seen But did you ever Want any of that Got my black shirt and jeans, black hat and horse 'Cause it good for hiding, the dirt and the grime But there's many a person, who'd point the finger my way Though it was never me, that did the crime They said I took: Cattle from the pen Eggs from the chicken Liquor right out of the drum But none of that hurt Half as much as you thinking that That was what I had done. Greasy hair and a dirty moustache Is all I have to show For a foolish man who would ever let A fine woman like you go But you wanted them all in white Teeth to match Golden hair And a fine moustache You liked the mean The worst you'd seen But did you ever Want any of that You said I was selfish, you said I was rude You said I never really loved you Well I was selfish and I was rude But I have always really loved you You told me to clean up, wash my dirty moustache I said "that's something, I can never do" Greasy hair and a dirty moustache Is all I have to show For a foolish man who would ever let A fine woman like you go But you wanted them all in white Teeth to match Golden hair And a fine moustache You liked the mean The worst you'd seen But did you ever Want any of that I met you on the road, you were something You kissed me on the moustache, and I fell But the river went dry and the cattle left My moustache was the only thing that was wet And maybe I've never loved anybody else And maybe I've only ever loved myself But our first kiss, it was true bliss And my moustache will always be a reminder of this

Chasing Time 04:10
If only I had forever to chase time The air in my lungs and the strength in my limbs The road to carry me and the will to go on The sun on my back, the roads a fine line Stretches ahead, wears down my bones But with you by myself, I'll have the will to go on Chasing time Chasing time I'm yours and your mine One life isn't enough, to be with you So join me on the road my love and let's chase time Chasing time Chasing time Chasing time Chasing time Chasing time Chasing time

I'm down playing at the bar again and old Billy's singing along He's shouting and he's screaming, he's singing a different song There's a bottle in his hand and he's leaning on the bar People start looking around, they think he's taken it too far He's singing "Love is Blue" He's singing "Oh What a Night" He's singing for his mother He's singing for what's right But he's wrecking my song and he's wrecking my night The bar staff serve him coffee and they take him out of sight I heard he lives around the corner and he's lived there all his life Lives there with his mother and he never wanted a wife And at school he played guitar, he used to dance he used to sing But his father said it's for sissys and blamed Billy for his leaving He's singing "Love is Blue" He's singing "Oh What a Night" He's singing for his mother He's singing for what's right But his mother was broke, so he sold his old guitar Didn't sing again until that night at the bar We found out the next morning, Billy's mother had passed away And the songs he was singing, she used to sing to him everyday And he's back at the bar and he's shouting and he's screaming He's singing those old songs again but this time it's like he's dreaming He's singing "Love is Blue" He's singing "Oh What a Night" He's singing for his mother He's singing for what's right He's singing "Love is Blue" He's singing "Oh What a Night" And we're all singing along We're singing for what's right

How many times can I hear somebody say "Can you help me", before I have to turn away? Now they're all gone, I'll be acting like there's nothing wrong Walking down the corridor, to hide behind my empty door A figure in a corridor, an echo through an empty door A thought drifting out to space, an expression on an expressionless face A speck on a grain of sand, the world or just a man? Hope it matters in some way, guess we'll all find out one day I'm singing this borrowed tune, I took from Neil Young Who took this borrowed tune that The Rolling Stones once sung And I can't write my own, I'm just too damn worn down So many hours in the day, but after work they all just fade away.

On the night I was born, there was a poor pig Whose mother squished him because her love was too big So my father insisted, my mother take me And a pig in a sock, to sleep safely So she took us to bed, a pig in a sock And a new born baby, equally wrapped up And as the cold light appeared and the new morning broke Only two of the three of us rose and awoke Poor old pig, stuck in a sock Let him out, don’t lock him up Mother she cared, father he tried But the larger I grew was the larger the divide And the children at school, they just couldn’t see Why anyone would want to be friends with me So I kept my head down ‘til I met someone new They said “the hell with the lot of them, you do you” And that’s when I knew, I wasn’t a boy (no way) I was a pig in a sock, and that’s OK. I was a pig! And that’s ok Poor old pig, stuck in a sock Let him out, don’t lock him up You do you, you do you, you do you babe You do you, you do you, you do you.

The doctor and the reverend, one in black and one in white One's fighting for the truth and one's fighting for what's right They'll heal your body and they'll heal your soul One's there when you're dying and one's there when you go The reverend's fought the hardest fight, he's lost half his weight The doctor's off the wagon, they're yet to set him straight He's seen too much and he knows too little He's been dreaming that he might stop it all "Take the leap", said the reverend "Come and take my hand Then you'll stop seeing and you'll understand". "I want to know, but I still have to see, The suffering of others but who will pray for me?" The sermon being said, he walked out the door Took of his collar said "I can't take much more Of the talking and the praying, it doesn't seem to do much good I've done all that I can do and the wrong's done all that it could" His head was in his hands when the doctor came to see "Do you remember those words you said to me? Who will save the saviours when the road has been too long? And you can't save anyone who walks the road alone"

Canada Goose 06:05
I see the island plastered on your arm That cruel mark, caught in the dark A humane restraint to "do no harm" A hood, a life, to stop the flow of air For your comfort, clean hands on a cup Of quality coffee as you pretend to care A coat, a look, waiting for the shot Caught in a cage, it's all the rage Life cycle or chain, they'll take all you've got

Malt And Cod 02:27
Malt and Cod spun on a spoon By my father in our living room. Smeared in his beard and rubbed in the wool On the front of his jumper Oh the malty fish flavour, furled around the tongue of my mind, Embedded in buds of taste. Oh I’ll not forget, I’ll not forget That malty fish flavour. Syrup sweet, the malt and cod, Warming in the brown jar on the hob. My face in the flask, so many years past, Brought back by that strange sweet snack If I could only catch, the image of you swirling that spoon And remember only that. Then I’d not forget, I’d not forget, And my memories might be sweeter Oh the malty fish flavour, furled around the tongue of my mind Embedded in buds of taste. Oh I’ll not forget, I’ll not for forget That malty fish flavour
